Spent Christmas at a castle hotel - truly spectacular! The rooms were spacious with huge windows that let in lots of natural light. The location was perfect - we had a stunning view of the lake from our room, and there was a train station that made it easy to explore the surrounding areas. The highlight of our Christmas stay was the snowfall. Seeing the entire hotel grounds covered in a blanket of snow made it feel like a real-life winter wonderland.

The heating system in the hotel was very poor. Even though we had the radiators cranked up all the way, we were still freezing in our rooms.
